During the competition, the organizers considered complex development of enterprise, including production activity, development of material-technical base, introduction of new technologies, business activity, etc.

Bukhara International Airport received its fifth award within the competition of the “Airport” Civil Aviation Association, but earlier it was named the best airport in other nominations.

Bukhara International Airport received international status and large volume of work was done to improve its infrastructure. In particular, runway was reconstructed, new building of airport, which can serve 400 passengers in an hour has been launched.

New building of airport has VIP and CIP halls, mother and child room, medical point, currency exchange points, etc.

Currently, the airport serves regular and charter flights from countries of Europe, America and Asia.
