Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Senior Counselor of Justice Boburmirzo Oblakulov has been appointed as the new Prosecutor of Navoi Region.

Boburmirzo Oblakulov, 53, is a graduate of Samarkand State University, from which he graduated in 1995.

Throughout his professional career, he has held a number of high-level positions, including serving as Hokim (Mayor) of Samarkand city. He has also worked in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Uzbekistan, at the Samarkand Regional Prosecutor’s Office, and headed the prosecutor’s offices of the Pastdargom and Akdarya districts.
