Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 15 February, a meeting was held between the head of the BMB Trade Group, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the head of the delegation of the trade mission of the American-Mexican Chamber of Commerce, Maurizio Monroy.
It should be noted that the delegation of the trade mission visited Uzbekistan for the first time. It included representatives of large companies specializing in logistics, trade and investment projects.
During the talks, the parties discussed in detail the possibilities of expanding trade, implementing joint investment and export projects of Mexico and the United States in Uzbekistan.
In particular, Bekzod Mamatkulov expressed readiness for the further development of trade relations, the organization of the export of fruits and vegetables and saffron, which are in demand on the Mexican and American markets.
Representatives of the business circles of Mexico and the United States expressed particular interest in the high-quality saffron products of the national brand BMB Za’faron, which is successfully conquering the world market.
As Maurizio emphasized, the American-Mexican Chamber of Commerce is ready to provide BMB Trade Group with all available resources for the speedy establishment of relations with interested business circles in Mexico and the United States.
In general, the negotiations were held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, and the agreements reached will allow establishing sustainable and mutually beneficial trade relations between the business circles of Uzbekistan with Mexico and the United States.
