BlackRock Confirms Interest in Priority Projects and Investments in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As part of his working visit program in Davos, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with Adebayo Ogunlesi, Member of the Board and Senior Managing Director of BlackRock.

During the discussion, key areas of investment cooperation with the leading international company were addressed, as well as progress on previously agreed initiatives.

The parties exchanged views on BlackRock’s potential participation in Uzbekistan’s priority projects. The company’s initiatives to acquire stakes in domestic enterprises, establish joint investment mechanisms, and bring in international expertise to further enhance the country’s investment climate were supported.
