Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The International Exhibition "Safety and Labor Protection" BIOT-2021 was held in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow, from 7 to 10 December. Uzbekistan, along with more than 40 countries, took part in the exhibition, which was held for the 25th time this year. More than 20 member companies of the Uzcharmsanoat Association presented over 120 products at the exposition.

BIOT year after year helps the participants to establish new business contacts, promote their products and services on the international market, as well as get answers to pressing questions, get acquainted with the best practices in this area, and exchange opinions. Participation in the International Exhibition is a real chance for enterprises to increase sales, find foreign partners and conclude mutually beneficial contracts.

Enterprises of Uzbekistan presented at the exhibition special footwear and personal protective equipment, which are very popular abroad and occupy a special place in the export of footwear in our country.

Within the framework of the exhibition, enterprises-members of "Uzcharmsanoat" discussed promising joint projects with potential partners from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia. In particular, two large Russian companies have shown interest in establishing cooperation with the Uzcharmsanoat Association in terms of implementing new projects for the production of leather goods. Next year, another foreign leather bag manufacturer will open its own business in Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of this international exhibition, there were also presentations of the achievements of the leather and footwear industry of Uzbekistan and its investment potential. In general, this conference, like the entire exhibition, became an excellent opportunity for our local entrepreneurs to find potential partners.
