Belgian delegation holds meeting at Legislative Chamber

Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan NUrdinjon Ismoilov received the delegation of Belgium. At the meeting, the sides underlined that the Uzbek-Belgian cooperation in political, trade-economic and humanitarian spheres is developing gradually.

At the meeting, the delegation received information on the activities of the Legislative Chamber, its committees, factions and MP Groups.

The Belgian delegation also held talks with the chairperson of the Committee of Legislative Chamber on democratic institutes, NGOs and self-governing bodies of the citizens and head of the Group of Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the parliament of Belgium Akmal Saidov.

The parties considered issues of developing inter-parliamentary relations between two states, ensuring rule of law, further strengthening of cooperation in trade-economic and other spheres, boosting mutual exchange of experience.
