Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 25-26 February 2020, the Belarusian-Uzbek Agrarian Forum will be held in Tashkent.

The event is held under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus, co-chair of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan Vladimir Dvornik.

The main goal is the practical implementation of the Plan (“Road Map”) on the development of cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The forum will bring together at one site interested manufacturers and processors of agricultural products of the two countries, as well as representatives of retail, Uzbek and Belarusian wholesale buyers, suppliers of equipment and technologies, investors, design and scientific institutes, and industrial universities.

The idea of holding the event was actively supported by the Uzbek side. Within the framework of the forum, Belarusian and enterprises will be able to present the best developments in the field of agricultural engineering, pedigree cattle breeding, design and construction of dairy farms, vegetable storages and processing industries, share experience in energy efficiency and resource conservation in the production of meat and dairy products.

Food industry enterprises will present their best products for professional tasting. About 60 Belarusian and Uzbek enterprises will present their export opportunities as part of the forum's exhibition exposition.

The format of the forum also envisages: plenary meeting with statements by officials; Thematic sections on crop production, animal husbandry, agricultural processing, sale of finished products; direct B2B negotiations, where stakeholders are representatives of retail, restaurant and hotel business, wholesale companies, farms, manufacturing companies; tastings of Uzbek and Belarusian food products, drinks both within the framework of the forum itself and in Tashkent stores; excursion to the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange in order to explore opportunities and discuss prospects for cooperation.

The most important distinguishing feature of the event, according to the organizers, should be maximum practical orientation. All conditions will be created for this, a lot of preparatory work is being carried out.

Based on the results of preliminary negotiations with future participants on both sides, one can judge their sincere interest in developing cooperation, the desire to find new customers, and establish long-term partnerships.

The successful realization of these intentions will undoubtedly be facilitated by the historically established strong ties between our countries, the commonality of human values, and mental closeness.

The organizers are sure that meetings of interested parties face to face in the atmosphere of the forum, filled with the energy of business communication, as well as opportunities for informal communication will be a powerful impetus for the development of the agro-industrial complex of both countries, in general, and each company associated with it, in particular.
