Bekabadcement launch new line on cement production
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Bekabadcement open joint stock company completed a project on construction of new line on production of 850,000 tonnes of cement clinker a year with dry method.
The project implementation will allow Bekabadcement to produce additional 1 million tonnes of cement a year.
Chinese CFMC Engineering was general contractor of construction. CFMC Engineering and Bekabadcement signed a contract on construction in March 2008 with the cost of US$62 million. The plant financed the project due to its own resources.
Bekabadcement has been launched in 1927. The designed capacity of the plant was 800,000 tonnes of cement a year before the modernization.
