Bekabadcement launch new line on cement production

The project implementation will allow Bekabadcement to produce additional 1 million tonnes of cement a year.

Chinese CFMC Engineering was general contractor of construction. CFMC Engineering and Bekabadcement signed a contract on construction in March 2008 with the cost of US$62 million. The plant financed the project due to its own resources.

Bekabadcement has been launched in 1927. The designed capacity of the plant was 800,000 tonnes of cement a year before the modernization.
