Basic Gas Consumption Allowance of 500 Cubic Meters to Remain in Effect Across All Regions Until Mid-March

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has announced the extension of the basic natural gas consumption allowance for the heating season in all regions of the country until 15 March 2026.

The decision comes in light of updated weather forecasts, which predict the arrival of cold air masses in the country.

According to the Ministry of Energy, the established basic consumption norm of 500 cubic meters for the heating season will apply uniformly across all regions without exception.

The measure is aimed at supporting the population during periods of lower temperatures and ensuring stable gas supply during the cold season.

The Ministry also noted that after 15 March, any additional decisions regarding gas consumption regulations will be made if necessary, based on further weather developments.
