Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A joint technopark between Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan is scheduled to open in Nurafshan by the end of 2025. The announcement was made by the Director of the Chirchik Chemical-Industrial Technopark, Zhokhangir Abdurakhmanov, during a session at the Yalta International Economic Forum held as part of the International Business Week in Ufa.  

According to Abdurakhmanov, an agreement has been reached to establish the technopark in collaboration with the Bashkortostan Development Corporation.  

As reported by TASS, the technopark will cover an area of over 60 hectares. A master plan has already been developed, envisioning the construction of production facilities spanning more than 300,000 square meters and the establishment of a logistics center.  

The first phase of the project is set to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.  

It is worth noting that the cooperation agreement between the Bashkortostan Development Corporation and JSC Uzkimyosanoat was signed in April 2024.  

Uzkimyosanoat encompasses Uzbekistan's chemical industry enterprises, producing over 170 types of products.
