Baroness Sayeeda Warsi to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, member of the UK government’s Cabinet and the co-Chairman of the Conservative Party visits Uzbekistan within the bilateral cooperation framework on 7 April 2012.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan did not disclose details of the visit.

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi is co-Chairman of the Conservative Party and Minister without portfolio in the Cabinet of David Cameron.

She is the third Minister to be a Muslim, following Shahid Malik and Sadiq Khan, the first unelected Muslim, and the first female Muslim, to serve as a minister in the UK. She was created a life peeress in 2007.
