Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of citizens living in the city of Namangan, Namangan region, applied to the police, saying that over 86 million soums were stolen from their banking cards.
The applicants asked police to take legal measures against the unknown.
As a result of the operational search activities, the persons who embezzled the money were identified. They turned out to be a 22-year-old bank employee U.A. and his trainee O.A., living in the city of Namangan.
It turned out that the criminals, using their official position, appropriated the money of citizens who entrusted them and handed over cards for their renewal.
With regard to U.A. and O.A. a criminal case has been initiated under part 3 of article 169 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investigative actions are being carried out
