Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 9 October 2020, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Masoud Mannan, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

The parties discussed the state and prospects for further strengthening the Uzbek-Bangladeshi relations of comprehensive partnership, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry reported.

The priority character of the expansion of trade, economic and investment ties by increasing the volume of bilateral trade, as well as the implementation of joint projects in the agricultural and textile industries was noted.

Special attention is paid to the issues of interaction in the spheres of culture, education and tourism.

At the end of the meeting, the Minister noted the successful completion of the seven-year activity of the Ambassador in Uzbekistan, expressed gratitude for his personal contribution to the development and strengthening of multifaceted ties between our countries.

Masood Mannan, for his part, thanked for the favorable conditions created for fruitful work in Uzbekistan.
