Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed a new foreign minister.

According to the decree of the head of state, Vladimir Norov was relieved of his post as Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the transfer to another job.

By another decree, Bakhtiyor Saidov was appointed as Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In connection with the new appointment, Saidov was relieved of the post of Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
