Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov took part in the ministerial meeting of the heads of foreign affairs agencies of Central Asian countries and the United States in the C5 + 1 format in Astana.
Saidov wrote on his Twitter account: “Together with my colleagues from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, today we held a C5 + 1 ministerial meeting in Astana. We all reaffirmed our commitment to expanding cooperation through dialogue on issues such as sustainable growth, green energy, environmental protection, and security,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister said.
According to the Foreign Ministry, during the event, the heads of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the United States discussed topical issues of cooperation.
