Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 5 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Uzbekistan Amira Fahmi.

During the conversation, topical issues of multifaceted Uzbek-Egyptian cooperation in all areas of mutual interest were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the interaction of the parties within the framework of the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international institutions.

The parties spoke in favor of implementing joint projects in trade, economic, investment, tourism, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.

The talks also discussed a schedule of joint events at the highest and high levels.
