Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 12 January 2023, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to our country Manish Prabhat.
The current state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Indian relations in various directions were discussed. The readiness of the parties to take joint measures in order to implement the decisions and agreements reached as a result of the high-level meetings was emphasized.
The Ambassador highly appreciated the participation and speech of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the plenary session of the Voice of the Global South Summit, held on 12 January 2023, as part of the Indian Presidency of the G20 (G20).
Plans were considered for organizing joint events this year in a bilateral format, as well as within the framework of the India-Central Asia Dialogue and international institutions.
The importance of promoting joint projects in the areas of trade, investment, textile industry, IT, education and healthcare was noted.
