Bakhtiyor Saidov Receives Credentials from New Armenian Ambassador to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekista Bakhtiyor Saidov received the letters of credence from the new Ambassador of Armenia to Uzbekistan, with residence in Yerevan, Gevorg Kocharian.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, noting multiple areas with high potential for development.
The Minister wished Ambassador Kocharian success in his diplomatic activities in Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment as ambassador, Gevorg Kocharian headed the Department for Eurasian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The previous ambassador to Uzbekistan, Aram Grigoryan, led the diplomatic mission from June 2019.
