Bakhtiyor Saidov Receives Credentials from New Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan, Saad Nasser Abdullah Abu Haimed.

During the meeting, the dynamic development of Uzbek–Saudi relations was noted, encompassing a wide range of areas.

The parties discussed current priorities and prospects for further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, including in trade and economic relations, investment, energy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Mutual interest in strengthening bilateral partnership and implementing joint initiatives aimed at deepening interaction between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia was emphasized.
