Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held talks with the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, conveying warm greetings from Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The Uzbek Foreign Minister expressed high appreciation for Georgia’s commitment to unlocking the significant potential of bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties confirmed the steady progress in the development of partnership across political, economic, and cultural spheres. It was especially noted that the foreign ministries of both countries are mobilizing all available resources to achieve even more tangible results for the benefit of the peoples of Uzbekistan and Georgia.
