Bakhtiyor Saidov Holds Talks with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 October, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Federal Councillor and Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis in Bern.

On behalf of the Uzbek delegation, Saidov expressed sincere gratitude to Cassis for the warm welcome and hospitality.

The parties discussed ways to further deepen dynamic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Switzerland in both bilateral and multilateral formats.

Key topics included innovation, exchange of expertise and knowledge, expansion of trade and economic ties, strengthening human capital, and other areas of partnership.

Both sides reached an understanding on maintaining close coordination within regional and international platforms, fostering positive bilateral relations, and joining efforts to address pressing global challenges.
