Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with Elina Valtonen, Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

During the meeting, the two sides positively assessed the current dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE. Special attention was given to joint initiatives aimed at strengthening regional security, promoting good governance, and protecting human rights.

The discussions also included an exchange of views on expanding bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland, particularly in the political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.

“We highly value Finland’s commitment to deepening our partnership and look forward to continuing constructive and results-oriented cooperation,” said the Uzbek Foreign Minister.
