Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.

During the conversation, the head of the foreign ministry conveyed warm greetings and best wishes on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Saidov emphasized that the relations between Uzbekistan and Georgia in recent years have been marked by unprecedented dynamism and a high level of mutual trust.

He noted that thanks to regular contacts at the highest and senior levels, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the pursuit of actively exploring new partnership formats, cooperation between the two countries has reached a qualitatively new stage.

“The agenda for the near future is rich and ambitious, reflecting the mutual aspiration to strengthen bilateral interaction. We intend to continue making efforts to further develop this positive dynamic in the long term,” the Uzbek Foreign Minister stated.
