Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Issues of further intensification of the Uzbek-Turkish relations of a comprehensive strategic partnership were discussed at a meeting of Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkiye to our country Olgan Bekar.

In recent years, thanks to a confidential dialogue at the highest level, cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkiye has shown an unprecedented high dynamics, enriched with practical content.

Intensive and fruitful contacts are being maintained between the parliaments, governments, ministries, departments and business circles of the two countries.

The schedule and organizational aspects of upcoming joint events were discussed, including regular meetings of the Strategic Planning Group at the level of heads of foreign affairs agencies and the Uzbek-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

An agreement was reached to strengthen joint work in order to comprehensively implement the decisions taken following the meetings of the Leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkiye.
