Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 26 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a meeting with UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Mary Russell.

In a post on his official Telegram channel, the Foreign Minister emphasized that creating the best possible conditions for the prosperity of future generations — both in Uzbekistan and globally — remains a top priority for the government.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed in detail the joint implementation of key initiatives aimed at building a brighter future for millions of children across the region.

Bakhtiyor Saidov reaffirmed the strong value Uzbekistan places on close cooperation with UNICEF and expressed the country’s continued commitment to providing the organization with comprehensive support.
