Bahodir Tashmatov Appointed as Commander of Uzbekistan’s National Guard

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed a new commander of the National Guard.

Under a presidential decree, Bahodir Tashmatov has been appointed Commander of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In connection with the appointment, he has been relieved of his previous post as Deputy Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan.

Tashmatov succeeds Rustam Juraev in the position of Commander of the National Guard.
