Azizkhon Shovkatov Appointed Tashkent Deputy Hokim

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Azizkhon Shovkatov has been appointed Deputy Hokim of Tashkent responsible for tourism, culture, and mass communications.

Before the appointment, Shovkatov served as First Deputy Head of the Main Department for Investments, Industry and Trade of Tashkent.

He is a graduate of the Tashkent State University of Economics.

In his new role, Shovkatov will oversee the development of tourism, cultural initiatives, and mass communications in the Uzbek capital.
