Azizbek Ikramov Appointed as Minister for Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed a new Minister for Emergency Situations.

Under a presidential decree, Azizbek Ikramov has been appointed Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. His candidacy was previously approved by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Prior to this appointment, Azizbek Ikramov served as Head of the Ferghana Regional Department of Internal Affairs. He replaces Botir Kudratkhodjayev, who previously held the post.
