Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the current legislation, before the appointment of members of the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as ministers, their candidacies are considered by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

On 29 August 2022, the regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was held.

During the meeting, the people’s representatives considered and approved the candidacy of Aziz Voitov for the post of Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Currently, Aziz Voitov is the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.
