Azimov: Uzbekistan interested in developing ties with China

He said that Uzbekistan is interested in further developing and deepening relations of friendship and cooperation with the Chinese partners. China is reliable and responsive partner for Uzbekistan, mutual beneficial and long-term dialogue with which is built on firm base of mutual respect and taking into interests of each other, he quoted the words of the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

According to Azimov, strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and China, mutual respect, high mutual trust and friendship were affirmed at the visit of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to Uzbekistan in September 2013 and the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to China in August 2014.

The agreements, reached by the leaders of two states, laid reliable base for expansion of cooperation in trade-economic, investment and financial spheres, Rustam Azimov noted. High level of inter-state dialogue, first of all personal trust and high respect of two leaders, gives powerful stimulus for further strengthening of the relations between two states in trade-economic and investment spheres.

“We hope that the forum will create good platform for concrete dialogue and development of joint projects, which will form new face of the Uzbek economy and will benefit the Chinese partners,” Azimov said.
