Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An annual ceremony of presenting the national business prize “Azeri Business Award” at the end of 2019 was held in Baku, Dunyo reports.
It was attended by representatives of official and business circles of Azerbaijan, the head of the diplomatic corps accredited in Baku, as well as leading companies of foreign countries and national media.
As part of the event, the editorial board of Business Time magazine awarded memorable prizes to a group of distinguished Azerbaijani entrepreneurs who achieved success in developing their own companies in 2019.
For the contribution to the development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Sh. Faiziev became the laureate of the national prize.
The welcoming speech assessed the state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. The growth of the dynamics of bilateral relations, the interest of states in enhancing and expanding contacts through the promotion of mutual trade, and the strengthening of business cooperation and investment cooperation were noted. The guests were invited to visit Uzbekistan to build business ties, get acquainted with the culture and historical heritage of the country.
The embassy organized a presentation of the economic and investment potential of the republic with a video clip about Uzbekistan. The plot presents information about the country's achievements in the political, socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, the course of reforming and modernizing the economy, government measures to increase the investment attractiveness of the republic and its tourism potential.
Within the framework of the organized exhibition of various types of products manufactured in Uzbekistan, informational materials have been distributed that reveal the successes of the republic in creating favorable conditions for doing business.
A presentation of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was also held during the ceremony. For this purpose, the products of Uzbek craftsmen, various types of national clothes, fabrics, souvenirs and ceramic products were exhibited. Along with this, booklets, flyers and other brochures on the tourism industry of the republic were distributed among the participants.
