Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 17-24 March 2022 due to heavy rains and significant temperature fluctuations in the mountainous regions of the country, including:

Kashkadarya region: in Kitab, Shakhrisabz, Kamashin, Dekhkanabad regions;

Surkhandarya region: in Kumkurgan, Sariosiy, Uzun, Baysun districts;

Samarkand region: in Kushrabat, Nurobod, Samarkand, Urgut, Bulungur regions;

Jizzakh region: in Zaamin and Bakhmal districts;

Tashkent region: in the Chimen mountains of the Parkent, Akhangaran, Bustanlyk regions and the Chatkal ridge;

Namangan region: Pop fog and Kamchik pass;

Ferghana region: An avalanche danger has been declared in Sokh and Fergana regions.

Citizens living in mountainous areas, vacationers, as well as drivers traveling in this direction are asked to take precautions.
