Automobile roads surveillance system in Tashkent ready to launch
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A computerized system of road traffic management is ready for launch and it is already supervises over security of automobile roads, head of department for work with mass media of Tashkent Department of Road Traffic Zoyir Saidaliev said.
He said that the system covers 120 crossroads of Tashkent. The system will start work and issue fines and orders to drivers after corresponding legislative document, regulating use of the system, comes into force.
Norma.uz said that the corresponding mechanism of fining of violators will be used:
- Information on violation is transferred via video surveillance system to information center;
- Center sends notification to the driver to the registration address within three-days;
- Violator should pay the fine within 60 calendar days;
- If the violator fails to pay the fine, the car will be sent to penalty area on the 61st day from the day of registration of violation.
