Automatic payment system to be introduced at Tashkent public transport

Toshshahartranshizmat is planning to introduce automated system of fare payment to the system of public transport in Tashkent city.
According to the company, the software is introduced to create favourable conditions for passengers, improving quality of services to them, control and analyze payment of fares, ensure flexible tariff policy, etc.
The company said that the system should help to improve collection of fares and avoid misappropriation of revenue, passengers travelling without a ticket or using forged certificates and monthly travel cards.
