ATTO Reports Strong Growth in Cashless Payments and Ecosystem Expansion in 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — 2025 proved to be a year of significant transformation and substantial growth for the ATTO payment system.
Over the year, the total number of transactions increased by 35.7% — from 510 million to 692 million operations — reflecting the rapid expansion of cashless payments in transport and urban services.
The most notable growth was observed in specific payment categories. Transactions using ATTO transport cards reached 213 million, up 52% compared to 2024. Payments via bank cards surged by 165%, totaling 387.4 million transactions, while the use of ATTO virtual cards grew even more sharply — by 234% to 6.4 million transactions.
The system developed particularly dynamically in regional areas, where the average number of transactions increased by 483%. ATTO’s functionality extended far beyond transport payments, becoming widely used for services in amusement parks, scooter rentals, cinema tickets, car washes, parking, and other urban services.
Thus, ATTO is building a comprehensive ecosystem in which cashless payments are becoming an integral part of daily life — not only in public transport but also across urban services and regional communities.
The benefits for passengers have been significant. By using physical and virtual ATTO transport cards with transfer tariffs, users experienced substantial savings. In 2025, 162.4 million trips were completed using ATTO transport and virtual cards, including 124.6 million on buses and 37.7 million on the metro. The total savings for passengers through transfer tariffs amounted to 36.9 billion soums.
The results of 2025 confirm that ATTO is becoming a key component of the digital infrastructure of cities, driving the growth of cashless payments and improving convenience for users.
