Atambayev expresses condolences to Uzbekistan in connection with chopper crash
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev expressed condolences to Uzbekistan in connection with crash of helicopter of the Uzbek Armed Forces on 18 October 2016, which led to life losses.
Almazbek Atambayev sent the telegram of condolences to Interim President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev.
In his telegram, Atambayev asked to deliver words of sorrow and support to relatives and friends of the victims of the accident.
The helicopter Mi-171 of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan crashed in Ferghana region, eastern Uzbekistan, on 18 October. In the result of the accident, three members of crew and six servicemen on board were killed.
