Atambaev: Kyrgyzstan set to further strengthen relations with Uzbekistan

In his message, Kyrgyz leader expressed his gratitude to warm welcome and hospitality, showed to him and delegation of Kyrgyzstan during his working visit to Uzbekistan on 24 December 2016.

Almazbek Atambaev said that he warmly remembers his negotiations with the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, which were held during jubilee date of the signing of the agreement on eternal friendship between the Kyrgyz Republic and Uzbekistan.

Atambaev said that the sides determined vectors of further bilateral cooperation and find full understanding, which will allow to breathe new life into the above-mention contract for the benefit of peoples of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

President of Kyrgyzstan said that the agreements, reached in the result of the talks of the presidents of two countries, will allow Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan to settle solve all issues of the bilateral relations, including those issues, on which the sides could not find compromise earlier.

State bodies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan should carry out huge and responsible work in short period of time to realize these agreements, Atambaev underlined. “But, I believe that works will be completed successfully,” Kyrgyz President said.

“Once again I want to assure you that the Kyrgyz Republic is determined to further strengthen the relations of friendship, good-neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan,” he stressed.

Kyrgyz President congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev and people of Uzbekistan with New Year. He expressed his assurance that under leadership of Mirziyoyev Uzbekistan will achieve high tempo of development of economy and society in 2017.

Almazbek Tambaev wished to the President of Uzbekistan strong health, energy and success in his activities, while to people of Uzbekistan - execution of all the good hopes, as well as well-being and prosperity.

In his message, Almazbek Atambaev invited President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan in any convenient time in 2017.
