Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The incident occurred today, on 8 July at about 7 am on the 242th kilometer of the Tashkent-Osh international road.

Moving along the Kamchik pass, the driver of a truck loaded with cotton fiber lost control, as a result of which the truck was thrown into the oncoming lane. As a result of an accident, the truck caught fire.

Fortunately, the truck driver managed to get out of the passenger compartment, and therefore did not receive serious injuries. The special search, fire and rescue department "Kamchik" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived at the scene. The fire was extinguished within a few minutes.

Thanks to the prompt actions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, most of the cargo was saved from fire. There were no casualties in the incident.
