Assets of CUA members grew by 97.1%

Activity of credit unions, members of Uzbekistan Credit Unions’ Association (CUA), was profitable in the first quarter of 2007.
Assets of the credit unions increased by 97.1% year-on-year and it made up 66.4 billion soums as of 1 April 2009.
Structure of assets of the credit unions includes liquid assets (1.2%), income-bearing assets (92%), main resources (net) (2.2%) and other assets (4.6%). Main part of income-bearing assets is credits, issued to members of the credit unions.
