Assets of Bank Samarkand increases by 97.3% in 2008

The main share of assets ate credits and prepayments to clients. The bank said their volume rose from 6.9 billion soums in the beginning of 2008 to 10.7 billion soums at the end of 2008.

Volume of liabilities and own capital of the bank comprised 16.7 billion soums. The bank increased its own capital to 14.3 billion soums or 3.9 times in 2008.

Net income of Bank Samarkand increased by 5.1 times year-on-year to 326.5 million soums in 2008.
