Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Acting Khokim of Tashkent Jahongir Artykkhodzhayev met with a delegation of Finland led by the Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland Markku Keinänen.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the prospects for the development of the Uzbek-Finnish dialogue in the sphere of trade, economic and tourist relations, the press service of the Tashkent city administration reported.
It was noted that Uzbekistan and Finland have significant potential in deepening bilateral cooperation in all spheres.
The guests noted importance of introduction of a visa-free regime for citizens of many countries for a period of 30 days, including for citizens of Finland, for development of tourism.
The parties also discussed the prospects for building a waste recycling plant in Tashkent based on the experience of partners and considered further cooperation in the production of paints and varnishes, the introduction of modern technologies in various industries.
