Artists from the SCO countries visited Bukhara and Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Currently, preparations are underway in our country for the SCO summit and an art exhibition, which is planned as part of the summit. It was for this purpose that talented artists from the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were invited to Uzbekistan. At the Samarkand International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road”, they create pictures of the world-famous and unique locations of our country.

From 15 July to 30 July, trips of masters of painting around the country were organized. In particular, the artists visited Bukhara and Jizzakh regions.

On 21-22 July, a creative group of 14 foreign artists visited Bukhara. During the visit, the artists visited the old part of the city and the craft centers of Bukhara, examined the ancient objects of cultural heritage.

On 25 July, the creative team visited Zaamin district. The artists got acquainted with such sights of Zaamin as the “Professions of the Future” school, Memory Square, the Nuranid Mosque and the Marifatli Cathedral Mosque.

The picturesque nature of Zaamin and mountain landscapes made a positive impression on the creative team: “Even when we reached the highest point in the mountains, we were amazed by the smoothness of the roads. All conditions for tourists are created here,” said artist from Tajikistan Farrukh Negmatzade. “The unique nature of Zaamin , calm water flow, beautiful arches - all this creates a peaceful mood.”

For reference, pictures depicting the unique places of our country, created by foreign artists, will be presented at the exhibition as part of the SCO summit.
