Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government resolution approved the Regulation on licensing activities for the production, repair and sale of civilian and service weapons, as well as their ammunition.
In accordance with the Regulation, activities on the production, repair and sale of civilian and service weapons and their ammunition are carried out only by legal entities registered in the established manner on the territory of Uzbekistan.
It is forbidden to issue licenses or rights to them to other persons.
Licensing of the production, repair and sale of civil and service weapons, as well as their ammunition, is carried out by the National Guard.
To carry out this activity, a model (simple) license is issued. At the request of the applicant, a license may be issued for the entire type of licensed activity or for its part (s).
Licenses are issued for an unlimited period of validity.
For consideration of the applicant’s application by the licensing authority, a fee is charged in the amount of 4 times the amount of basic estimate value (892 thousand soums).
A license fee is levied for issuing a license in the amount of 10 times the amount of basic estimate value (2 million 230 thousand soums).
Monitoring compliance with the requirements and conditions of the license is carried out by the licensing authority.
