Armed Forces of Uzbekistan continue to carry our drills

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As previously reported, a joint command and staff exercise will be held in the Ferghana, Andijan and Namangan regions from 9 to 13 April to clarify the procedure for performing joint actions by all components of the Armed Forces.

The exercise involved forces and facilities of the Ministries of Defense, Interior, Emergency Situations, Border Troops and other units of the State Security Service, the National Guard, the State Customs Committee, local authorities and local authorities.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, today, on 11 April, in accordance with the plan of a joint command and staff exercise at several testing grounds in the Eastern Military District, the actions of law enforcement agencies to prevent destabilization of the situation in the region and ensure public order in border settlements were practically worked out.

The exercises are held under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Defense - Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan Major-General Pavel Ergashev.
