Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A government resolution “On the creation of a specialized children’s entertainment and educational TV channel” was adopted.

According to the document, a specialized children’s entertainment and educational TV channel “Aqlvoy” will be created.

Providing information in an interesting and understandable form, stimulating children to acquire knowledge, developing intellectual and creative abilities (edutainment) is one of the main tasks and activities of the TV channel.

This TV channel is formed at LLC "Edumedia Corporation" without a status of a legal entity. It will be included in the package of general user social digital television broadcasting provided to all regions of the republic.

The channel will operate on a self-financing basis.
