Applications open for the 35th International Advertising Festival Red Apple

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Red Apple International Advertising Festival has announced the start of accepting applications for the competition, which will run until 3 September 2025. This year, the festival celebrates its 35th season with new formats, expanded expertise, and an emphasis on the importance of social responsibility.

Red Apple is the country's leading advertising award, bringing together top professionals in creativity, marketing, and advertising for 35 years.

The festival annually hosts a business program featuring experts from Russian and international markets, including Content and Creativity Day at the National Advertising Forum. In 2025, the program and the awards ceremony for the winners will take place on November 13.

This season, the festival introduces several innovations. For the first time, Red Apple has ambassadors — thought leaders and industry experts from Russia and Brazil, who will help establish connections between local and international practices.

Evgenia Arabkina, Executive Creative Director of the advertising agency Serviceplan and festival ambassador in Russia, emphasizes the importance of Red Apple for the development of the creative industry: "The festival inspires, fosters healthy competition, and helps participants achieve great results. It stimulates creative enthusiasm, which drives innovative projects."

Artem Sinjavski, founder of Marvelous Group and festival ambassador in Russia, urges participants not to hesitate in entering: "Red Apple is the leading advertising festival in Russia, offering a unique opportunity to evaluate your work on an international level and see if it meets global standards."

Ciro Ribeiro Rocha, founder and CEO of Enredo Brand Innovation and festival ambassador in Brazil, also highlighted Red Apple's significance for the global creative industry: "The festival reminds us that creativity knows no boundaries. It is a place where ideas unite, inspire, and drive the industry forward."

This year, a new category has been introduced in the Creative block — "Mastery in Video Advertising" with a subcategory of "Best Casting." This nomination was initiated by the agency BBDO and is aimed at supporting the "Artist" fund, which assists elderly cultural and art professionals. All funds collected from submitted works will be directed to the fund. Maria Mironova, People's Artist of Russia and founder of the "Artist" fund, comments: "We must support those who dedicated their lives to art and are now in need of help."

Igor Kirikchi, CEO of BBDO Moscow, adds: "Our industry is part of the cultural heritage, and we must take responsibility for the fates of those who created this culture."

Alongside the main competition, the Young Creators block continues to grow with the support of the mads creative school, this year raising the age limit to 30. Partner briefs include a campaign for the UGC community "Women's Council!" from the VOICE magazine, redesigning the packaging of DodoBox from "Dodo Pizza," and social advertising for "Nochlezhka."

Winners will receive internships, project implementations, and free participation in the main festival.
