Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 November, a meeting of representatives of the partner organizations of the WFK program of the representative office of KOICA in Uzbekistan was held at the Hilton hotel in Tashkent.

This seminar was organized in order to further strengthen relations between KOICA and partner organizations and to increase the effectiveness of activities by sharing opinions. Representatives of more than 22 partner organizations, including representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, representatives of higher and secondary educational institutions from the capital and regions took part in this event.

The event which started with the opening speech of the director of KOICA's representative office in Uzbekistan Park Sunjin introduced the partner organizations to KOICA's WFK program and the results of 2022, and the goals and plans set for 2023. At the event, presentations of our partner organization on online volunteering, presentations of volunteers' adaptation courses in Uzbekistan, and discussions aimed at increasing the Uzbek language potential of volunteers and increasing the efficiency of volunteers' activities were held.

The representative office of KOICA in Uzbekistan expects active exchange and cooperation with more organizations in 2023.
