Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Another patient, who has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19), has died in Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

The 53-year-old resident of Shafirkan district of Bukhara region was hospitalized on 20 June. Two days later, the patient’s condition worsened. Later, he was transferred to the intensive care unit of the Bukhara regional multidisciplinary medical center.

The patient was diagnosed with coronavirus, bilateral pneumonia, acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure. The patient also had hypertension.

Despite the efforts of doctors, the patient died of acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.

The total number of deaths from coronavirus in Uzbekistan reached 50.
