Another Indian university is showing interest in opening a branch in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the work carried out by the Uzbek diplomatic mission in India to promote the further development of the higher education system in Uzbekistan and attract advanced foreign experience, Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov met with the executive director of the Acharya network of institutions (Bangalore, India) Vishesh Chandrashekhar.

The Indian side was familiarized with the large-scale work carried out in our country to implement the Concept for the development of the higher education system in Uzbekistan until 2030. and creating favorable conditions for foreign partners. 

Vishesh Chandrashekhar highly appreciated the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in the higher education system and their practical results.

“The fact that over the past three years three Indian universities have started their activities in Uzbekistan is a vivid evidence of the successive transformations taking place in this area,” said Vishesh Chandrashekhar.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibility of establishing a higher educational institution in Uzbekistan for training specialists in the field of ICT in cooperation with the Acharya Institute. For a detailed discussion of this initiative, an agreement was reached to organize in the near future a working visit of representatives of an Indian university to Uzbekistan.
