Andijonkabel Signs US$4 Million Deal in Kabul Fair

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A trade fair under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand was held in Kabul, bringing together entrepreneurs from Andijan region. The event took place on 11–12 April 2026, and served as a platform to showcase the export potential of Uzbek manufacturers, including companies from the electrical engineering sector.

Within the framework of the exhibition, business negotiations and B2B meetings were organized, during which participants discussed prospects for expanding cooperation. The Afghan side showed strong interest in Uzbek-made cable products and household appliances, reflecting growing demand for these categories in the local market.

One of the key outcomes of the event was the signing of a memorandum by Andijonkabel worth US$4 million. The parties are currently continuing negotiations on future deliveries tailored to the requirements of the Afghan market.

The fair is viewed as an important step in strengthening trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, expanding export channels, and enhancing the position of domestic producers in international markets.

It was also noted that in May 2026, a multi-brand trade center called “Uzelectronics” is expected to open in Kabul, which will serve as an additional platform for promoting Uzbek electrical products.
